This is my story , the day Oprah Winfrey started talking about the Acai dried freeze berry , and acai juice on her TV show my eyes was wide open.

Remember to include other fruits and vegetables into your diet because otherwise you may end up with some kind of nutritional defficiency. No berry can secure all your needs. I suggest eating iron- and zinc- rich foods because antioxidants reduce their absorbtion from meals.

Agree 100% with you man. I’m in Brazil and I know is all marketing. And I know Açai like americans know Maple Syrup and I have to say, like you: It’s tasty but not a life savior. That commercial is ridiculous.

They are lying. That Falls are not in the Amazon. They are in “Foz do Iguaçú” city, border with Argentina. Its about 6.000 miles or more from the Amazon. You can Google it and seeing in Google Maps to see if I’m lying. And there’s no Açaí in that region. Its very funny. Its like showing the Niagara Falls and saying it is in Orlando, Florida. But you know, is nice to see that and easier to get your money. But listen, Açaí is tasty, i like it but not a miracle.

Listen. I’m living in Brazil and I know “Açaí” or “Acai” for years. Is very popular among gym addicted people. But is not a miracle. I’m living in Sao Paulo (south) and that fruit comes from the Amazon (4.000 miles) and have to be freeze to transport. In U.S. even more. And I know after freeze it, will lose lots of its strength. I like Açaí, is tasty, with banana or strawberry with granola, hum, very good, but just that. And I have to say something more about that marketing… read above

pure marketing. this doesnt talk about the acai nutrition. its psychology saying “if you want health and greatness………acai”. acai is good but maqui is the best of all fruits. trust me i have tried it
